For standard grid connection you need to: 1) Submit an application through the service customer account or in person; 2) Provide required documents; 3) Receive technical conditions (up to 10 business days); 4) Fulfill technical conditions and apply for connection; 5) Sign connection agreement and pay the fee.

According to Ukrainian law: if the meter is faulty — replacement is at the distribution system operator's expense; if damaged by the consumer — at the consumer's expense; replacement with a smart meter under the AMI program is free for consumers.
